Colart UK pricing effective 1st January 2025
Dear Valued Partner,
As we approach the end of 2024, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued partnership and support of Colart. We are proud to collaborate with you through this challenging period for consumer spending due to economic uncertainty and ever-changing retail environments.
In the face of these challenges, we are encouraged and appreciative of the strength of our relationships across our businesses – this has been evident in the commercial and marketing plans we have developed together. Great plans resulting in powerful activation of Colart brands in store & online, that communicate well & educate consumers while inspiring them to thrive in their passion for creativity.
2024 highlights include:
• Winsor & Newton Professional Water Colour Campaign including the new Revival Colours.
• Extension of our Graphic Art Ranges with additions to Winsor & Newton Markers, Pencils and
Mixed Media Sets
• Conte a Paris new sets and graphics
• Relaunch of Lefranc Bourgeois Fine Oil Colour
• Innovation continuing our sustainability journey with Liquitex Bio Based Heavy Acrylic
• Continued collaboration with Paw Patrol for Snazaroo.
• New range of Essential & Wooden box sets from Winsor and Newton
We continue to invest in our Brands as we believe this is critical to our success in these uncertain times and for the future. The brand positioning “Through the Eyes of the Artist” from Winsor and Newton, “Just Imagine” from Liquitex and “Dare to Paint” from LeFranc Bourgeois have been successfully established this year. These will continue as key elements in our communications on digital platforms and in store for 2025.
We are also pleased to share with you that our brands continue to grow in awareness and desirability. Our core brands, Winsor & Newton and Liquitex’, social media presence ranks amongst the highest in art materials with over 1M followers combined. In addition, our recent consumer brand preference studies prove that we rank strongest in brand presence with leadership in usage and preference across several categories.
For 2025 we will continue with our Perform 2030 strategy, focusing on Consumer First and Brand Power. This will see a continued investment in our new brand positioning, and exciting new products for our consumers:

As in previous years we strive to reduce or absorb our cost increases in order to minimise the impact on our partners. However, in 2025 we will need to increase some prices as we continue to witness inflation, raw materials and general costs of manufacturing increasing.
We will thankfully have some categories with zero price increases while other categories across our brands will average small single digit increases. Despite this we believe the pricing is still in keeping with the competition. Our new prices will be effective for all orders from January 1st, 2025. Until then current prices and conditions continue.
We believe our quality brands, combined with strong promotions and industry leading assets and activation, offer many opportunities to grow the market together. We seek to continue adding value by working closely with you to increase our promotional investments and support consumers in these challenging times.
