    Hard engraving ball varnish is a solid varnish applied to a hot plate using a roller or stamp. Wrap the ball in a piece of taffeta to act as a filter and rub it onto the preheated metal. This varnish is very hard, and its matte black finish makes the engraving highly visible. Composition: Judean bitumen, wax, rosin Solids content: 100% Dry appearance: opaque matte Weight: approximately 40g Clean with mineral spirits
